Originally created for Atari ST and Amiga, Terrorpods was later versioned for 8-bit systems. New Frontier was in charge of converting the game to MSX, starting from the version created by Icon Design for Spectrum.
While in 16-bit originals the strategy had a fundamental role, in the versions for their small brothers that aspect was dispensed with, turning the game into a simple direct-action arcade.
It was the letter of introduction of Psygnosys in our market, together with Barbarian, and a little before Obliterator. "Shadow of the Beast", the game that would make it world famous, would not come until a couple of years later.
