Pincha Bola is a concise and curious hybrid of two well-known games, Bumpy de Loriciels and Home Runner by Britannia Software.

The first takes the protagonist, a jumping ball. Of the second the aesthetics of the levels and the essence of the game.

In Pincha Bola, as in the aforementioned Home Runner, our task is to reach the top of each level. For this we must go jumping from mobile platform to mobile platform, while avoiding at all costs to bump face to face with any of the objects that evolve through these platforms.

In case of hitting us with a platform, or falling a lower height, our protagonist is stunned for a moment. In case of falling to the spikes on the bottom of the screen or stumble with any object, we lose a life (start we have 5).

We finish the game when we exceed the 5 levels that the program contains (and not 6, as the instructions say, accessible from the main menu of the program).

 - GRAPHICS: Little to highlight. The game has a Spectrum game look from the first half of the 80's. The definition of the objects and the protagonist being simple is appropriate. As for colorful, rather loose, not in vain the graphics are CGA.

 - ANIMATION: Everything moves smoothly. Our protagonist, even without luxuries, is properly animated. The game, given its style, does not need much more either.

 - SOUND: Very similar, for bad, to other author's games. The sound section is composed of a melody? (more like a random set of beeps) in the main menu, plus a few "noises" during the development of the action.

- PLAYABILITY: The strong point of this program, without a doubt. Pincha Bola is a fun game, in which our skill is as important as our ability to plan, and if we look, the movements of the platforms and objects are cyclical, so if we manage to memorize them, we will have a lot of livestock.

But there is something that weighs down on this program. At the beginning of this review we defined Pincha Bola as brief, and it was not an empty adjective exercise. Pincha Bola has the pyrrhic amount of 5 levels, with what we can say that we are more before a minigame, than before a complete game. In fact it is not difficult to find demos much longer than this program.

In short, summarizing, Pincha Bola is a simple arcade, with a classic scent, that drinks from known references, but technically is weak, and above all, scandalously short.
