Bios is a very humble contribution to the field of lateral scroll shoot'em up (Gradius or R-Type style, to name two classics), which draws attention for the great size of our fighter, and for have a collision detection routine not very polished.

  The objective of the game (to reach a door to hyperspace that will put us safe), is only a pretext to develop the concept of always, that is, overcome phase after phase, trying to accumulate the maximum possible number of points.

A point that we must take into account during the development of the games, will be the abusive consumption of fuel by our fighter (perhaps its size has something to do :)). Luckily, randomly will appear a series of capsules marked with the letter "F", that when collecting them will provide us with extra fuel.

 As for the armament, say that we will start with a single shot cannon, which we can turn into triple, temporarily, as soon as we collect any capsule marked with the letter "T".

TECHNICAL ASPECT

 GRAPHICS: The graphic aspect in general sin of coarse. In this aspect, of course the game is, of everything, less showy. The definition of sprites can be improved (not to mention our ammunition, when I see it on the screen, I am assailed by the question of whether we shoot lasers, or sperm :)). On the other hand, our ship has a perceptible flicker at all times.

 ANIMATION: The screen scroll is simply passable. The response of the ship to our orders follows the same line. What is no longer acceptable is that the collision of our shots with the objects on the screen occurs several pixels before they match.

 SOUND: As in most programs of A.G.D. this section is very deficient. In the start menu sounds something that the author was supposed to believe was a melody (I have seen cows that make better musical compositions with their cowbell). During the game, the sound effects are composed of a handful of ineffective and not very effective noise.

 PLAYING: For me, it is probably the strong point of the program, if before the technical poverty of the game does not throw us back. The fact that the difficulty curve is well drawn, and that we are facing a game perfectly "findable" for any average skillful player contributes to it.

In short, a poor game of ships, which is more entertaining than it may seem at first glance.
