On August 3, 1999, Spectrum Zone, the predecessor of Computer Emuzone [CEZ], was launched. So, we are celebrating our 25th anniversary, and it is worth saying so, even though we have not been able to prepare anything special. We will continue here as long as we can. Thanks for everything!

As it happened in the field of cinematography in the 80s / 90s, in which a successful film production was followed by a legion of cheap copies, which are bad and have a lower budget (it comes to my mind) (although there are dozens of examples) "Conan the Barbarian" and his Italian substitute "Ator the powerful"), in the video field, sometimes, the same thing happened.
MAXIMUM ORIGINALITY .....
Transmuter 2, probably, is one of the most bleeding copy examples I've ever seen. In fact, the argument that tells us about the game at the beginning of the first phase is identical to that of Terminator 2 (yes, John's name has been removed (Connor does not appear), T800 is renamed TR2 and T1000. be TR-1000).
To make matters worse, this first phase of the game (game, which on the other hand, is divided into two totally independent phases), unabashedly copies the development of the second phase of the game that Ocean published for computers, based on the film.
The second phase, which as mentioned above is loaded separately, in a "surprising turn", copies the style of game "Pang", which does not match at all with the development of the first phase, nor with the argument .. .
Now, although in terms of lack of originality (and internal consistency) the game borders on the reportable, at the level of gameplay, we must recognize that it is not bad at all.
To overcome the first phase we have a single life. In this phase we control John on a motorcycle, which must flee a police vehicle driven by the TR-1000. Each shot of this one that reaches us will diminish our energy bar. If we hit another car, or against bulky objects or margins, we will die directly.
In the second phase, which takes place in the foundry, we have 6 lives and we handle the TR2, which must be discharged, based on shots, a kind of "bouncing faces" that swarm the screen.
As in Pang, each time these faces are targeted by one of our shots, they will be divided into two smaller clones. Also, in order to make things difficult, another series of artifacts will appear on the screen with not very good intentions.
As an aid, during the development of the game, we can collect items that will provide us points and extra lives.
TECHNICAL ASPECT
GRAPHICS: The graphics are simple in terms of definition, and, of course, nothing spectacular (and of course, much lower than those of the official game created by Ocean). All in all, they comply even minimally.
ANIMATION: The scroll of the first phase is smooth, and our character responds correctly to the keyboard. Even so, also in terms of animation, it's still a raucous game.
SOUND: In the line of other games by the author, we have undefined "speaker" sound effects ... Loose.
PLAYING: Transmuter 2 is, in spite of all its defects already commented (lack of originality, technical simplicity, etc ...) an entertaining title. The game is not very long, but the level of difficulty is better calibrated than in other titles of the author, which will be difficult to finish the game to the first game.
In short, a game that plagiarizes the story and characters of Terminator 2, which in its development copies the second phase of Ocean's Terminator 2 and Pang, which technically is no wonder, but that, why not say it, entertains.
