With this addictive title, Locomalito pays homage, with the quality and good work to which it has accustomed us, to megaclassics of the Phoenix or Galaga type that will never go out of style and that will always be a reference for the most nostalgic.
We will play defending our galaxy through 5 different worlds, trying to kill the insects from the distant planet Verminest, shooting them from our ship and having three game modes: one "Normal", another "Old" (in a magnificent white and very retro black) and in an original "3D", like in those sixties science fiction B movies in which they made you wear those uncomfortable cardboard glasses with red and blue filters.
Apart from being a beautiful tribute, if there is something that I liked within its studied and apparent simplicity, it is the fact of being able to shoot continuously by just holding down the fire key and not being compulsively pressing to launch the shot. In arcades I recognize that this system is cool with good controls prepared for it and your colleagues freaking out and cheering you around but, being a personal computer, I do not like it and I think it only serves to crush keys or sink buttons of the joystick -gamepad
unnecessarily. Of course, despite this little help, do not think that it will be easy to kill so much enemy, especially when they undertake the kamikaze descent towards our ship, so only three lives seems frustrating, but it must be like that if we want to maintain the essence of the matamarcianos genre. For all this and much more, this title cannot be missing from your game library.
