HISTORIA

El Comandante Serena tiene como misión rescatar a su compañero de expedición capturado en la Luna 4 del Sistema SOTPOK, más conocido como el mundo de PHANTIS, un paraje insólito habitado por una fauna hostil y una flora exhuberante.

DOBLE CARGA FX

Este programa tiene dos partes, cada una grabada en una de las caras de la cinta.

Para jugar a la segunda, es necesario descubrir el código de acceso que se encuentra al terminar la primera.

PRIMERA CARGA

Consta de 4 fases, tu objetivo es aterrizar en el planeta y atravesar el pantano a lomos de tu ADREC CLONICO.

PRIMERA: debes aproximarte a la luna 4, serás atacado por las hordas Kamikazes de SENOLIZ.

SEGUNDA: sobrevolorás el área volcánica. Evita los cazas de reconocimiento, las bolas de magma incandescente y los misiles tierra-aire de reconocimiento autónomo.

TERCERA: penetrarás en la gruta subterránea que comunica con el pantano. Serás atacado en esta ocasión por SERPIENTES MULTIAPILER que necesitan tres descargas láser en su cabeza para ser detenidas. Aniquila las nebulosas de gas Kripton y las naves enemigas que patrullan la gruta.

CUARTA: una vez aterrices podrás capturar un ADREC clónico que te permitirá atravesar el pantano. Dispones de una cuchilla fotónica que te ayudara a vencer a los habitantes de¡ pantano que luchan montados en sapos gigantes y pterodáctilos.

SEGUNDA CARGA

Debes descender a lo más profundo de PHANTIS y atravesar 6 niveles diferentes hasta rescatar a tu compañero de la PRISIÓN.

1. NIVEL SUPERFICIE: Zona montañosa habitada por "pelotrones siderales". Utiliza tu micro-pelotrón rebelde para acabar con ellos.

2. BASE ALIENÍGENA: Apodérate del turbo láser de iones y su cargador de protones para ir armado a plena potencia.

3. NIVEL BOSQUE SUBTERRÁNEO: Debes encontrar el Medallón de acceso para poder atravesar la Puerta Azul.

4. NIVEL LAGO INTERIOR: Escapa de las feroces fauces del Plentosauro que habita las aguas termales del lago, y cúidate también de las pirañas asesinas, hasta llegar al helipuerto.

5. NIVEL MAGMA: El helicóptero atravesará la gruta que conduce a la zona volcánica. Evita las burbujas de lava y los desprendimientos de roca magmática.

6. NIVEL PRISIÓN: Desintegra a todos los diablos rojos que custodian la milenaria prisión y presenciarás el final de PHANTIS.

NAVE: Subir, Bajar , Acelerar y Láser.

ADREC CLÓNICO: Izquierda, Derecha, Cuchilla adelante (disparo), Cuchilla arriba (disparo + arriba).

SERENA: Jet, Agacharse, Derecha, Izquierda, Láser.

INTRODUCTION

ARKOS has achieved the defeat of GREMLA, empress of five planetary systems, after overcoming countless difficulties. The troops of the sidereal infantry have arrived to take charge of the imperial planet. All is happiness and joy.
But noone can find the hero of the rebellion. Nobody knows where ARKOS is.
Soon it is found out that he has been captured by GREMLA'S heirs and has been imprisoned on the terrible jail planet PHANTIS.
To free him is a one-man mission, and Major LOCKE is chosen to accomplish this, as he knows the terrain best.


DOUBLE LOAD FX

This program has two parts. In order to play the second part you must discover the access code at the end of the first part.


FIRST LOAD

Made up of four phases. Your aim is to land on the planet and cross the swamps mounted on your clonal ADREC.

PHASE 1:
You must approach MOON 4. You will be attacked by the kamikaze hordes of SENOLIZ.

PHASE 2:
You will fly over the volcanic area. Beware of the reconnaisance bombers, the balls of incandescant magma and the ground-air missiles of autonomous recognition.

PHASE 3:
You will enter the underground cavern that leads to the swamps. On this occasion you will be attacked by MULTIAPILER serpents which require three laser discharges in the head to stop them. Annihilate the nebulae of KRYPTON gas and the enemy ships patrolling the cavern.

PHASE 4:
Once you land you will be able to capture a clonal ADREC which will enable you to cross the swamps. In your possession you have a photonic blade that will help you defeat the inhabitants of the swamps, who fight mounted on giant toads and pterodactyll.


SECOND LOAD

You must descend to the deepest layers of the planet and cross six different levels before rescuing your companion from prison.

1. SURFACE LEVEL: Mountainous area inhabited by sidereal PELOTRONES. Use your rebel PELOTRONE to do away with them.

2. ALIEN BASE LEVEL: Gain control of the ionic turbo laser and its proton loaded in order to be armed to full power.

3. UNDERGROUND FOREST LEVEL: You must find access medallion in order to cross the Blue Door.

4. INNER LAKER LEVEL: Escape from the fierce jaws of the PLENTOSAURUS that dwells the thermal waters of the lake, and be careful with the murderous piranhas, until reaching the hellport.

5. MAGMA LEVEL: The helicopter will fly through, the cave leading to the volcanic area. Avoid the lava bubbles and the landslides of magmatic rock.

6. PRISON LEVEL: Disintegrate all the red devils guarding the millenary prison and you will view the end of "GAME OVER II".

EVALUATION

There are 24 different enemies in "GAME OVER II". For every one you destroy you obtain certain points.
In the first load you start out with 4 lives and an extra one every 25,000 points.
In the second part you begin with 5 lives and an extra one each time you find a heart.

CONTROL AND MOVEMENT

SHIP: up, down, accelerate and laser.
CLONAL ADREC: left, right, blade forward (shoot), blade upward (shoot + up).
MAJOR LOCKE: Jet, stoop down, right, left, laser.

JOYSTICK CONTROLS

Left - Rise, Jump up, Jet, Descent, stoop down
Right - Accelerate

Shoot = laser

PREDEFINED KEYS

Q - Rise, Jump up, jet
A - Descent, stoop down
O - Left
P - Right
SPACE - Shoot


LOADING INSTRUCTIONS

SPECTRUM 48K +
1. Connect the EAR output of the SPECTRUM to the EAR output of the cassette.
2. Rewind the tape to the beginning.
3. Adjust the volume to 3/4 of the maximum.
4. Type LOAD and press ENTER.
5. Press PLAY on the cassette.
6. The program will load automatically.
7. If it fails to do so, repeat the operation at a different volume.
SPECTRUM + 2
1. Select option 48 BASIC with the cursor and press ENTER.
2. Then follow the SPECTRUM 48K + instructions (remember that the volume has already
been adjusted in the + 2).
SPECTRUM + 3
1. Connect the SPECTRUM + 3 to the mains.
2. Insert the diskette.
3. Select the Basic + 3 option.
4. Type LOAD "Disco" and press ENTER.
5. The program will load automatically.
