On August 3, 1999, Spectrum Zone, the predecessor of Computer Emuzone [CEZ], was launched. So, we are celebrating our 25th anniversary, and it is worth saying so, even though we have not been able to prepare anything special. We will continue here as long as we can. Thanks for everything!

As I mentioned in other game cards, Ocean had a pretty clear scheme when it came to making games based on the movies whose licenses they acquired: conversions for all possible computers (in MSX it was a little Erbe, sometimes for the national market, sometimes for all of Europe), advertising bombing, the best of the staff in their respective positions and, in regard to the game itself, multiple phases different from each other, authentic mini-games that together made up what over the years they would turn into authentic classics.

It happened with Robocop, with Batman (The Movie) and, as it could not be otherwise, with the game that concerns us, in which parts are mixed with side scrolling, shooter and the curious phase of the train station, with vertical scroll, in which we have to drive the baby cart while annihilating the gang members.

The MSX version is, you guessed it, a direct conversion of the Spectrum (so is the Amstrad CPC version). The truth is that it is not bad, because it gives a certain classic air that reminds of black and white films. This was probably not the intention, because the 16-bit and C64 versions are full of color, but it gets a great result.

Unlike other direct conversions, this time the music is preserved during the game, which turns out to be great news, and the speed of the game is not affected in the transfer.

Another classic of Ocean that you could enjoy the suffered users of the Japanese computer.
