On August 3, 1999, Spectrum Zone, the predecessor of Computer Emuzone [CEZ], was launched. So, we are celebrating our 25th anniversary, and it is worth saying so, even though we have not been able to prepare anything special. We will continue here as long as we can. Thanks for everything!

Outlaws was the winning game at CPCRetroDev 2016, ahead of Hire Hare from CNG Soft. Although it is true that the competition has been gaining in quality over the years, it is no less true that it is a very good game, which took a great leap forward with its second version (Reloaded), after the competition, which added Gunstick support, improved frame rate and fixed some bugs.
It exudes retro on all four sides, a sensation that occurs as soon as the menu appears on the screen, arranged just as Dinamic used to do in its creations. The graphics are very colorful and pleasant, as is the music, making up a remarkable technical section.
As we said, it cannot be ignored that there are two games, and not just one, because the Reloaded version improves -and a lot- the player's experience, as the crosshair movement is much smoother. Also Gunstick support adds a tremendous plus; Although it is unlikely that many people will try it (I don't think I will ever dust off my long-awaited copy of Spectrum again, for example), it is true that it must be a joy not to have to use the keys, which will result in a less difficulty to complete the missions.
Because that's the point of playing with keys, which is quite difficult. Surely anyone who has time will improve their skills with practice, but the truth is that being aware of your character and your gun at the same time, together with the large number of enemies that appear on the screen, makes it relatively easy for you to kill over and over again.
Retrobytes, made up of Alxinho (former partner in CEZ GS), Toni Ramírez and José Antonio Martín Tello (former member of Dinamic) emerged in 2012, that time when I was quite far from what was new in the retro scene . Mainly focused on the Amstrad CPC scene, they have left us some gems that are worth reviewing; today we take the first step with this Outlaws, whose Reloaded version will make you have a great time.
