On August 3, 1999, Spectrum Zone, the predecessor of Computer Emuzone [CEZ], was launched. So, we are celebrating our 25th anniversary, and it is worth saying so, even though we have not been able to prepare anything special. We will continue here as long as we can. Thanks for everything!

Bomb Jack is one of those great timeless arcade classics, which has been versioned for almost every possible system. I remember spending endless hours playing a J2ME version for my foldable Motorola without sound, nailed to the original.
But not only have these exact versions been created, but it has served as inspiration for other creations, leaving its mark clear, but innovating in the development. This is the case of this creation by José Luis Salguero, a prolific programmer who is flooding the MSX world with new games (in a good way), with his Physical Dreams label.
Paco el Bombas has two versions. The original, with which the author was not too happy, and the Redux, where he could capture all his creativity ... Well, almost all, because he would leave a little bit for a second part called Paco 2 - Paco el Bombs again, which you can get in a physical version by contacting us by email.
The original suffered from much simpler graphics that did not subtract, of course, an iota of fun from the game, but that made it seem like an amateur creation.
The Redux version, for its part, corrected that defect with much more elaborate graphics, highlighting Paco's sprite, which will immediately remind you of the Tehkan game.
The fun is guaranteed, and the game engages almost or as much as the arcade it is inspired by, and that was not something that I expected before trying the game (if something works, do not shake it much).
And if the visual aspect and the fun are adjusted, the music that accompanies us in each game, the work of Sergey Kosov, is not far behind, although it may end up doing something repetitive.
In short, a fun and attractive game that will make you spend pleasant moments in front of your MSX or emulators.
