Celeste Classic is an iconic platform game originally developed by Maddy Thorson and Noel Berry for the PICO-8 virtual console. Later, they went on to develop Celeste, a highly acclaimed title that has become a benchmark for fans of the genre.

David Programa had previously created a version of Celeste Classic for the ZX Spectrum Next, an unofficial but faithful remake of the original.

During his research on the PICO-8 game, David Programa discovered a remarkable mod created by Amegpo. The mod incorporates various elements from the full Celeste game, such as tokens, dream blocks, and Badeline.
