One of my favorite games. Both the Spectrum version (the MSX version is the same) and the Amstrad version have an extraordinary quality. It's a shame that no more versions were made, no doubt. It was also a well-known game abroad, although in a late period (1991). It was distributed by Winner -a budget label-, like Comando Tracer (The Last Comando) or Rescate Atlantis (Rescue from Atlantis) and published as Captain 'S'. A collation, and as a curiosity, it must be said that despite the fact that in these British versions the menus and some credits were translated, the games themselves -not on the covers- the original titles were left, which was reason for comment in English magazines.
I also keep fond memories of the cover - it always seemed spectacular to me - as well as the feeling I had when I first learned about the game (the Microhobby cover). I immediately went to buy it at 'El Corte Inglés', in a Spectrum +3 disk version, for which I paid the usual 1,750 pts. (€ 10.5) that Dinamic games cost in that format.
I can only tell you not to miss it; despite not being a best seller, it had the quality for that and much more.
Hi-Score disbanded after performing "Capitán Sevilla", and its components went their separate ways. Two of them, Manuel Gascó and David Brioso, would soon form the Techno Arts label, under which they released a single title, Hypsys, published by Dro soft.
On the other hand, the publication of the game in the UK, three years after its departure in our country, was unknown by its authors (at least with the two that we had the opportunity to speak with).
