Analysis

This is one of the most brilliant and addictive Spanish games of all time. Despite being a Pac-Man clone, the levels are much more elaborate, as are the enemies and the abilities of our protagonist.
To make matters worse, Topo advertised the game in a very particular way, revealing nothing until it was reviewed in magazines. This generated enormous anticipation, and many of us couldn't wait to see what the Madrid-based company was up to.
Later, Mad Mix 2 was released, also "similar" to another classic Namco arcade game: Pac-Mania.
Also, as you can see, Mad Mix Game was released abroad under the name "The Pepsi Challenge." Aside from this difference, the protagonist didn't eat the pellets, but rather stomped on them. Also noteworthy is the fact that phase 1 – the one shared with Pac-Man – is eliminated, so the game starts directly in phase 2... Problems with unrespected licenses were common when Spanish games arrived in the United Kingdom, where the professionalism of the companies was demonstrably greater.

Version ranking
