If someone in Spain could create an exceptional coin-op, they were Zeus Software, authors of the world success Risky Woods
.
Although we won't find something new, all in this game is brilliant. Is like if Zeus had done a mix with 'Gunstar Heroes', 'Risky Woods' and 'Alice in Wonderland'... Far from being rare, this mix is perfect.
The protagonist is a kind of Toy Terminator who has to stop the bad boy and their henchmen. During the walkthroughs we'll find cards, computer virus, assasin bishops... All of them miniaturized.
Playing 'Biomechanical Toy', I have the sensation to be playing with a console or Amiga, maybe due to the sound fx recicled from 'Risky Woods' (they took some enemies of this game too) or because the action is 100% like a plattforms game.
But if something distinguishes this game of other Gaelco creations, it's the imagination of Maite R. Otxotorena, the graphist. Her designs have their own personality, and they will surprising us each step.
