If I remember correctly, the appearance of Psygnosys in Spain was given by the hand of Terrorpods and this one, two games exclusively for 16 bits that didn't particularly call my attention. Afterwards would be released "Shadow of the Beast" and the Amiga would become the object of desire of any teenager and everything would change forever.

One of the consequences of the beginning of the reign of 16 bits was the fact that the conversion process was completely reversed after a while: if at the beginning the 8-bit big successes were converted to ST and Amiga, the reverse way would happen step by step, and this is what happened with Barbarian.

In the case of MSX, as on so many other occasions, the process was carried out in Spain for all markets, starting from the Spectrum version and adding some graphic details in the markers.

I remember that I was never a fan of this game in which you control the protagonist through icons, in a video adventure with elements of graphic adventure. I thought there was only one "Barbarian", and that was the one from Palace Software.

Hubo versión internacional del juego. Se distribuyó en caja de cartón al igual que Xenon, Terrorpods y algunos más. Solo lo he visto una vez en eBay y se me escapoy
