With the creation of the CEZ mobile zone (which we had not yet publicized by now), I remembered that before the explosion of smartphones based on iOS and Android (of Windows Mobile we barely remembered) there was a fruitful production of games for mobiles in our country, which used Java language.

One of the leading companies in this sector was Exelweiss, the former Comic Book (surely Corsairs or Ulises are familiar to you), commanded by José Vicente Pons.

One of the games that he had known at the time and that I never got to play was the one that concerns us today, a sequel to the classic Goody by Opera Soft.

In 2006, the year in which the game was launched, the isometric sector dominated the video adventure sector, with a much tighter gameplay than the games of the Golden Age (for example, an arrow used to be pointed out the way to follow). You can see examples from the Game Boy world, such as The Adventures of Pinocchio (Infray Quest) by Bit Managers.

Those were other times, and neither Goody was known to the new generations (as Carles Pons pointed out in the Exelweiss blog) nor, probably, the old "gamers" were interested in games with this dynamic, perhaps aimed at younger players.

In any case, it is endearing to listen to the melody that accompanied the original game, and to see Goody wandering as he used to in search of money, avoiding obstacles and collecting objects. To this day, fourteen years after its publication, it has a place in the world of retrocomputer nostalgia.
