computer emuzone review
Published on2010/02/28
Educational games had a lot of popularity in 8-bit computers, often serving as an excuse for our parents to give them to us.
Geography of Spain for MSX has been present at CEZ since its inception (for download), having a record since 2010; but it was not one token, but two. And it is that until very recent times (I write this in July 2020) we had not discovered that 'Capitals of Spain' and 'Rivers of Spain' were part of a single installment. This was common in the early days of emulation pages, when there was not as much information as now. In fact, shortly after knowing this, we also discovered that a Spectrum version had existed.
To make matters worse, we did not know its original authorship until not long before these discoveries, since the versions we had were pirated and translated into Catalan.
As regards the game, its first part consists of guessing the different Spanish capitals that are framed in a circle. Instead of ñ use the n. Capitalize the first letter of the capitals, otherwise it will be scored as a failure.
As for the second load, it has exactly the same mechanics, only this time we must identify the rivers of our country, instead of the provincial capitals.
Programmed in Basic, it is a very simple game. It has very simple graphics and music, and an enormous slowness when it comes to setting the stage and moving from one question to another.
Completing the instructions, keep in mind that, in cities with a compound name, you will also have to capitalize the first letter of the second name, if you do not want me to tell you the answer as a failure.
