Ricardo Puerto comentó en un podcast en 2014, que Delfox era sólo una prueba que hizo a ratos cuando descansaba del desarrollo del Comando Tracer. Víctor Ruíz le pidió un juego de baja calidad, a lo que Puerto contestó que tenía uno que estaba sin acabar y que no lo quería acabar. Cuando en Dinamic insistieron y le ofrecieron 50000 ptas., Puerto accedió.
