On August 3, 1999, Spectrum Zone, the predecessor of Computer Emuzone [CEZ], was launched. So, we are celebrating our 25th anniversary, and it is worth saying so, even though we have not been able to prepare anything special. We will continue here as long as we can. Thanks for everything!

Being disconnected from the scene means losing things, that is indisputable. But the positive side is that, just by taking a look, you can discover everything you have missed. We are talking about the retro world and, of course, the immediacy that accompanies the current digital world does not rule as a structural principle.

The surprise that I was when I saw the game that concerns us today was enormous. I was looking for some Commodore game covers and suddenly I found an article talking about the game on commodorespain.

What surprised me most was not that someone had tied the blanket over their heads to carry one of the most important successes of Spanish soft to C64. In itself that was exciting in itself, but the best thing was that it had been made by a Spanish, who learned assembler of his longed for C64 to be able to bring him one of the games that had marked his childhood.

We can go into assessing why there was never an official conversion, when they were carried out in other games of that time (especially considering that Profanation was published in the United Kingdom as well, and there was little else that they did to themselves the conversion if you did not send it).

The result is great. Starting from the graphics of the original version for Spectrum, it faithfully reproduces its atmosphere, with two important differences: on the one hand, the music departs from the original melody to offer us a powerful piece that will delight SID lovers (among which I include myself, of course). On the other, it also departs from the original splash screen to include a colorful version of the game's cover.
Both characteristics separate us from nostalgia, but they are superb on a technical level.

All in all, congratulations to all fans of the Commodore 64Kb computer ... And hopefully this is not the latest conversion from a huge Z80 hit.

Note 03/31/2020 : We have added the extended version of the game, which appeared in 2018. This version has 10 additional screens, which are sure to be pure gold for the legion of followers of this Dinamic classic.
