We have told you that the members of New Frontier, when they saw that the market for 8-bit computers was not enough, took the duffel and, with great courage, stood in the Infogrames offices to show them that they also knew how to make games for console.
And we say with great courage because, although programming for the Master System or Game Gear was similar to do it for Spectrum, Amstrad or MSX (they all had the Z80 processor), and even for Game Boy (from what I read, its CPU had some of the characteristics of the previous one), they did not stop there and they dared with machines as different as NES, SNES and even PlayStation.
Asterix did so when Bit Managers had not even been renamed, so learning the new systems must have been fairly accelerated. As far as we know, it was launched only in Europe.
The result was a very graphically pleasing game (one of the best NES graphics, they say out there), with sound at the same level, and a simple development and measured difficulty, probably with the little ones in the house in mind.
When you manage to rescue Obelix, who is the objective of the game, a beautiful final scene of credits is shown, in the style of the end of the famous albums.
