On August 3, 1999, Spectrum Zone, the predecessor of Computer Emuzone [CEZ], was launched. So, we are celebrating our 25th anniversary, and it is worth saying so, even though we have not been able to prepare anything special. We will continue here as long as we can. Thanks for everything!

It seems incredible, but it has been 10 years since the fun and irreverent Hispanics known as "The Mojon Twins", presented this title back in 2010 for ZX Spectrum and Amstrad CPC, getting a nice, simple, intuitive and very fast game. since our little protagonist, runs non-stop with her pigtails to escape the extensive forest of Badajoz in which she has gotten as if there were no tomorrow, collecting acorns, keys and dodging all kinds of typical enemies of a crazy jungle environment full gorillas, natives, ghosts and snakes (the usual in the forests of Extremadura). All of them move on each screen with a fixed and permanent movement back and forth, with which, Cheril will only have to wait for the right moment, calculating the times so as not to touch the enemies (up to 99 times we can collide with

In the Amstrad version we are accompanied by a nice soundtrack throughout the game. Apart from this already distinctive detail, there are quite a few graphic differences that denote a better finish overall than on the Spectrum, with a greater variety of color, with numerous objects that change their appearance (not always for the better) and even our Cheril is different and The pigtails have been cut, leaving the character perhaps somewhat more bland, but just as lively and funny.

Finally, it is worth highlighting the generosity of the Mojonian Universe in offering the game as always in free download and with a free Creative Commons 3.0 license (although with some limitations), but which essentially means allowing the use of its source code, its modular..

A very entertaining title, well done and talented, entertaining and with a perfect eighties aroma, whose success with the public and critics, motivated an inevitable sequel in this year 2020 and with the same healthy intention to entertain and have a good time, called Cheril in the Bosque en otro Bosque. Bravo, Mojones Twins !!
