karnevi · review computeremuzoneOne of the most active and successful lines of Idealogic was the conversion to MSX2, by Philips, of the adventures that Telarium had carried out a couple of years before -mostly- for the main North American systems, and that normally were based on in great literary successes.
But they not only limited themselves to converting and translating the games, but they took full advantage of the graphic capabilities of the second generation Japanese computer to generate a game experience superior to that of the other versions.
In today's adventure we take on the role of the famous television lawyer Perry Mason, who must save client Laura Knapp from being convicted of the murder of her husband Victor from hers.
Great graphics for the time, compliant sound and a great atmosphere make the game one of the best examples of conversational adventure for MSX2. Our condolences to the fans of the genre who had that computer and came to the world after 1986, nothing was the same again.

Frank Baum, Robert Stevenson, Ray Bradbury, Arthur C. Clarke o Roger Zelazny, y eran innovadoras en todos los sentidos, desde los gráficos (poco usados en la época), hasta la sensación de interactividad en cada una de ellas, muy superior al resto de aventuras, en algunas de ellas, incluso, además de dar órdenes hablamos con la gente como si fuera una conversación normal.
En Idealogic, a parte de realizar unas versiones de MSX2 brillantes (se preocuparon hasta de poner acentos), mejoraron los gráficos con ayuda de ilustradores profesionales, dejando un aspecto superior (pero de lejos), a las sosas versiones para Atari ST realizadas por Telarium.
Además el aspecto estupendo que tienen los juegos, el intérprete de las aventuras es una maravilla, y es el primero que me encuentro (eso no quiere decir que no hayan más), que ayuda al jugador a realizar las acciones, por ejemplo, si le decimos apaga la tele y “tele” no está en el diccionario, nos dirá “prueba sin tele”, lo cual en estos caso ayuda muchísimo.
