On August 3, 1999, Spectrum Zone, the predecessor of Computer Emuzone [CEZ], was launched. So, we are celebrating our 25th anniversary, and it is worth saying so, even though we have not been able to prepare anything special. We will continue here as long as we can. Thanks for everything!

Although film conversions were almost exclusively the territory of Ocean or U.S. Gold, some that eluded them, and this was the case of 'The Running Man' ('Persecuted' in Spain), a highly entertaining 1987 film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, which was awarded Grandslam Entertainment.
Set in a dystopian 2017, a television program turned a series of prisoners into involuntary contestants, who had to overcome risky tests in which they always ended up being shot down by professional murderers ... Until Arnold arrived, of course.
The usual versions in the British Isles arrived in Spain, and among them was not, as almost always, the MSX version. MCM (the sub-label of Erbe) smelled success and commissioned David Brioso with a quick conversion, as was often the case in these cases.
And what was the result? Well, if we start from the fact that the game was no longer very good (nor entertaining), the curl was curled, because to the boredom of the original version of Spectrum (made by Emerald Software), a greater slowness joined and ... Well, it always, a complete waste of the greater possibilities of the Japanese standard.
By the way, in the Motorbike Madness file we told you that this was the last homeland conversion to MSX ... And obviously we were wrong; In addition to this we have a couple more in our portfolio, and surely someone else that at some point we will be able to identify. He stay tuned.
