Here it is, at last, the entry for one of the legends of Spanish 8-bit software. One of the few games from Erbe, along with Ramón Rodríguez and Mapgame (the latter under the Action sub-label). It was precisely from the group that created the latter and the game we're discussing that Topo Soft emerged, led by Javier Cano, as an independent label, though still part of Erbe.

On this occasion, an excellent sword and sorcery plot gives way to a game that, at first glance, seems to distance itself somewhat from the dark and gloomy atmosphere that the plot attempts to create. I say this because the game's graphics are done more in a comedic style, at least when it comes to the enemies trying to thwart Redhan's mission.

I couldn't quite explain the reason for the mythical aura that permeates this game. In fact, I'm sure that only those of us who had the chance to play it back in the day can truly understand it. In my case, it's all thanks to the original game's meticulous presentation, in those miniature plastic VHS-style cases, which compelled me to borrow it from my neighbor time and time again. Its vibrant colors, so striking back then; its storyline, as I've already mentioned; its gameplay, which I would dare to call extraordinary...

In short, I have little to add for those of you who are nostalgic and veterans like myself. To those who weren't lucky enough to experience those times, I still recommend it, even at the risk of it not resonating with you... And if that turns out to be the case, just wait for the magnificent remake by M.A. Soft Enlace interno, which promises to be a re-release of the fun adapted to modern technology.
