computer emuzone review
Published on2001/01/04
I wasn't lucky enough to experience the era when this game was released (well, I was alive, but I didn't have my Spectrum yet :-D). I think I bought my computer a year or two later, and even when I finally had one, I spent a year or two completely unaware of what commercial games were really like, thinking that only the VideoSpectrum and Load 'n' Run tapes sold at newsstands existed (although, obviously, I played a ton of commercial games through Load 'n' Run without realizing it).
The game itself, for the time it was created, is very good, although it's clear that the inspiration for the guys at Dinamic came directly from Risk. Anyway, that's beside the point, because playing on a board is not the same as playing on a TV screen, so each has its own particular charm.
Finally, it's worth mentioning that the game cost 1,800 pesetas, which was normal back then.
