Retroworks has not been emphasized from the beginning by launching a lot of games; in fact, since they appeared as an independent group, they have been five if you count Sir Fred - The Remake launched with CEZ GS. The other three are the already discussed in these pages Goomy and Knight Lore Remake, and the recently appeared Nelo & Quqo, which we will review in the near future.

Although some others will appear soon, some highly expected by the writer, it isn't much baggage for nearly two years of existence and the number of people who form the group, indicating that if efforts are not directed to the amount, they must have done to quality.

And that's exactly what happened with the games already reviewed and with this "King's Valley", a remake of an old Konami hit for MSX ... Quality oozes from all sides.

Graphics, made by Pagantipaco (Ranaremake, Goomy) are a small wonder, putting the appearance of the MSX version perfectly in our limited and beloved Spectrum.
And the code is the first foray of Manuel Pazos (The Abbey of Crime - MSX2, Knight Lore - MSX2) on another computer than the Japanese standard, if I am not wrong, getting a result that at least equals the original version.

In those days it was rare for someone to have more than one computer, and we tended to defend at any cost what we owned. Thus, it was more than likely that an Spectrum user had never heard of some Konami games. If that's the case, we recommend you not only to play the original with an emulator, but also to download this excellent conversion. You could see how a small game can provide a lot of fun.
