"Ronaldo V-Football" (V-Soccer in the US) was originally going to be called "UEFA 99", but the people of Infogrames got hold of Ronaldo's license and everything changed. In fact, the following year UEFA 2000, its sequel, was published.

In the development tab you can find more information about this and other circumstances of the game, such as how Bit Managers managed to take full advantage of the graphical possibilities of the Game Boy Color, or how they solved the lack of team licenses.

Compatible with Game Boy and Game Boy Color, the game was a hit, how could it be otherwise given the theme and the player behind it. With it, the members of the Catalan company managed to fulfill one of their dreams, which was none other than to make a football game.
