Pedro Amador, its autor, had obtained some success with his previous text adventure, La Corona, wich was published by System 4 under its SPE label.

Johny Vayna is based on the far west. It has a comic screenplay, with good graphics in each location.

The game was one of the seven winners of the Microhobby Adventures contest.
