The birth of a remake

Several months ago, one of the CEZ community members, nicknamed Trauma, started the development of a remake of the 8 bits game "Soldier of Fortune". He is doing it publicly, in a  forum thread, where several members are helping him out with the graphics.

If you ever wondered how to do a remake, and you want to see it step by step, don't doubt it and take a look to the forum thread.

CEZ GS 2008 News

We've a lot of objectives this year, and the most important are:

-Since our last technical problems, the games rating didn't work properly. They are ok now, our apologizes.

-We're preparing the physical copies of our games in order to sell them directly in our web.
We want to apologize now, because a lot of you have contacted us by e-mail in order to buy them, but we couldn't satisfy your requests.

-Last, 2008 is the new web year. Game cards will be so much completes in CEZ GS. You could access to the game manual, but also to maganzine and other webs reviews, users comments, making offs and so much other things.

CEZ Silver game: BeTiled! (MSX 1 & 2)

After the success of the Spectrum version coded by Benway, and after a prudential time to have it perfectly finished for the MSX Dev'07, we've released the MSX version of BeTiled!, coded by Utopian with graphics made by Kendroock.
Our third MSX game has SCC sound and the posibility of playing the game in a MSX 2 taking advantage of the superior graphic quality.

StratoS 2.0 - 16Kb ROM (MSX)

So far, there was only available the first version of StratoS, the 8kb ROM coded for the MSXDev'04 competition.

But we solved it and now, in the same game file, we've included the 16kb version. So, don't doubt and download the game in its cardto discover the news within it.

New Article : Microhobby Cassette

The Punisher brings us a new article about spanish software history : This time about Microhobby Cassette, the tapes which included the type-ins of the best Sinclair computers magazine ever.

Like before, you will see some screenshots, and download every game, so you won't have to look them up in all the tapes.

Preview: BeTiled! (MSX)

After our last release  (the Spectrum version of the new CEZGS Silver label game, Betiled!), we are proud to announce that the MSX version of the game is about to be finished, thanks to the great job by Utopian and Kendroock.

Some more little details, along with a deep beta-testing process, and you will be able to enjoy this game in the MSX, taking advantage of this computer's characteristics.

CEZ Silver game: BeTiled! (Spectrum)

BeTiled! is the last CEZ GS production for the Silver label.

In this frantic game, a Bejeweled clon, you'll need to squeeze your intelligence in order to make the neccesary lines to continue to the next level.

With graphics made by Kendroock and Anjuel, and music by Wyz, BeTiled! is the first game coded by Benway for the ZX Spectrum. He used C language with assembler routines made by himself.

And it's not all, because you'll have more news about this game soon.

Ventamatic, the pioneers

We have published the first of the articles about the spanish software companies that our writer, The Punisher, has been elaborating for his blog. We start with Ventamatic, a pioneer, although unrecognized, company from the first 80's, that gave us a lot of good moments.

Phantomasa is back... And what a comeback!! In " The Land of The Grunge Wizards", this character, created by the CEZ Team member Na_th_an (inspired by his computer idol), will delight us with a huge and extense videoadventure for our beloved ZX Spectrum (or emulator, your choice).

At last! Now you can download our first game for the new CEZ Adventures brand. In English, of course.

Two guys made this possible: Mighty Artaburu (from ESP soft) wrote the code and Kendroock (CEZ Team) made the graphics.
