GREETINGS
COLLABORATIONS

Content is the most important thing not only in CEZ, but on any website; however, to make it available, the contributions of the following people have been essential.

ANJUEL

CEZ logo; programming of the CEZ GS entry system, precursor of the one used in CEZ; design of the main header and zones; implementation of the javascript code to display images in entries, plus technical help.

AUGUSTO RUIZ

Technical help in several areas, including fixes to the pagination system.

DAVIDCM

Programming of the search system and technical help.

KONAMITO

Design of a CMS for CEZ that was ultimately not used, but inspired the current one.

LORDFRED

Design of the different decorative images used on the site.

JOSEPZIN

Technical help with PHP, MySQL and other matters.

OTHERS

Other people also contributed, such as Pagantipaco (who sketched various designs for a new CMS), Nath_Than (technical help), and probably someone else I am forgetting.

Of course, thanks also go to all CEZ members and former members, some of whom have already been mentioned here.

SOURCES

In addition, given the enormous effort involved in keeping the site up to date, tools and content compiled by other pages have been used, along with the material users have sent us directly.

ZXDB ext

It has started to be used, cross-checking databases, to fill the major gaps still existing in CEZ 25 years after its foundation. A project by Einar Saukas with a vital impact on ZX Spectrum preservation.

World of Spectrum ext

The most complete and famous page dedicated to the ZX Spectrum. Created by Martijn van der Heide in 1995, who led the project until 2013. Afterwards, it went through a long inactive period until its return was announced, resulting in a split between the original domain and WOS Classic, which is the one linked here.

Spectrum Computing ext

The best-known front end for ZXDB. It has inherited WOS’s leading position in the ZX Spectrum retro scene. Essential for any information about this machine beyond Spanish games.

SPA2 ext

A key reference site for games published in Spain for ZX Spectrum, gathering contributions from many users devoted to preserving software for Sir Clive Sinclair’s classic machine. Juan Pablo López Grao is the main person behind the project.

El Trastero del Spectrum ext

A wonderful site, barely changed visually since its beginnings, that has done and continues to do admirable work recovering all kinds of ZX Spectrum material.

Amstrad.es ext

The reference site for games published in Spain for the Amstrad CPC. It is led by Litos (Carlos de Ana), who felt the need to go one step further than what CEZ could do regarding Spanish games for the Amstrad CPC.

Índice Retro ext

Josepzin’s project to build a complete database devoted to the Commodore 64 and preservation of material published in Spain for this system.

Others, such as Jonny B. Bad’s page (Spanish PC games) or Espectrum (Spanish Spectrum games), no longer exist, but were useful guidance and support in the early years of the site.
