The third part of the Turok saga (Turok 3 was the fourth), followed the Bit Managers had started under the auspices of Acclaim: impeccable technical aspects, great playability and almost guaranteed commercial success.
As a novelty, the stages were deeper and you could move more freely from top to bottom in levels with horizontal scrolling. But there were also levels where development was vertical.
It was the first to be made exclusively for the Game Boy Color (the first part had appeared on the original console, while the second was a cartridge that worked on both handhelds).
