On August 3, 1999, Spectrum Zone, the predecessor of Computer Emuzone [CEZ], was launched. So, we are celebrating our 25th anniversary, and it is worth saying so, even though we have not been able to prepare anything special. We will continue here as long as we can. Thanks for everything!

We knew of the enormous ability of our admired Mojon Twins and company to make fun and enjoyable games on 8-bit computers. What we did not know so much is his mastery of the legendary Nintendo console par excellence, the NES. Almost 62 million units of this wonder were sold. It is said soon. It is not surprising that many developers are working on releasing games for this platform today, despite talking about a machine that came out back in 1986.
In Booteé we have to take our jumping protagonist Cheryl, jumping without stopping to not really know where or why, but it is almost the least of it. Because the really important thing is to let yourself be carried away by this experience that transports us perfectly to the 80s by making the most of this legendary Japanese machine. Good graphics, good music and fluid movement if you have a good gamepad, but a few minimal instructions and even a little pause would be appreciated, and for our protagonist to stay still for a while and stop for a moment hitting pots without stopping as if there were no one tomorrow. Honestly, she gets desperate and is even grateful that a saving "Game Over" arrives to restore calm and tranquility to your life.
If you were lucky enough to enjoy this console and if nerves of steel are your thing and you are not despairing of how repetitive our friend is, this is a game that you should not miss. It will certainly make you remember old times and you will have a vintage good time. Finally, remind you that with the magnificent emulators, Nestopia or Nintaco, you will be able to enjoy NES game roms on your computer, be it Windows, Linux or OSX.
